1. Who We Are
Brina Marketplace is an online marketplace operated by Brina Store LLC.
Our marketplace connects customers with products offered through Brina and participating marketplace sellers. Depending on the service involved, personal information may be processed by Brina, marketplace sellers, payment providers, identity-verification providers, shipping and fulfillment providers, marketing providers, hosting and technology providers, and other service providers necessary to operate the marketplace.
For privacy-related questions or requests, you may currently contact us at:
We may designate a dedicated privacy email address in the future. If we do, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Brina Marketplace.
A. Account and Profile Information
When you create or manage a customer account, we may collect information such as:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Account credentials and authentication information
- Email or account verification information
- Saved addresses
- Account preferences
- Account and security activity
We do not require a date of birth from ordinary customers unless it becomes necessary for a specific service, age requirement, identity verification, fraud-prevention measure, or legal obligation.
B. Order and Transaction Information
When you place an order, we may collect and process information such as:
- Billing address
- Shipping address
- Products ordered
- Product variations
- Quantities
- Prices
- Discounts and promotional information
- Shipping method
- Tax information
- Order status
- Transaction or payment identifiers
- Returns, refunds, cancellations, or disputes
- Communications related to your order
Where supported, customers may save billing and shipping addresses to their account so they do not have to enter the same information again for future orders.
Customers may update or remove saved addresses through available account features.
Information contained in completed transaction records may still be retained when necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or other legitimate business purposes.
C. Payment Information
Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers, which may include Stripe, Square, PayPal, or other payment gateways made available through Brina Marketplace.
Brina does not intend to store raw full payment-card numbers, card security codes (CVV/CVC), or equivalent raw payment credentials in its own marketplace database.
Payment providers may securely collect, process, tokenize, and store payment information according to their own systems, security practices, and privacy policies.
Where saved payment methods are supported, Brina may receive or display limited non-sensitive information made available through the payment provider or WooCommerce, such as:
- Card brand
- Last four digits
- Expiration information
- Payment token or provider identifier
This allows supported saved payment methods to be used without Brina needing to store the customer’s full card credentials.
D. Shopping Activity and Preferences
Depending on the features you use, we may collect information about your interactions with Brina Marketplace, including:
- Wishlist items
- Recently viewed products
- Shopping preferences
- Product interactions
- Search and browsing activity

You should not include sensitive personal information in reviews or other public content.

Seller identity verification may require information such as a government-issued identification document and a selfie or similar identity-verification process.
Brina uses third-party providers, including Stripe, for certain identity-verification and financial-services functions.
Sensitive identity-verification information may be collected and processed through Stripe’s systems rather than requiring sellers to submit those materials directly through ordinary Brina forms.
Brina may receive information necessary to determine or manage verification status, eligibility, compliance, marketplace access, payouts, risk, or related seller functions.
The exact information available to Brina may depend on the verification service, applicable law, and configuration in use.
Seller applicants should also review the applicable privacy information provided by Stripe or any other identity-verification or payment provider involved in the process.
Seller accounts and contractual seller participation may be subject to minimum-age requirements, including a requirement to be at least 18 years old where applicable.
4. How We Use Personal Information

We may also use information for other purposes disclosed at the time of collection or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
5. Marketplace Sellers
Brina Marketplace may share information with the marketplace seller responsible for an order when that information is reasonably necessary to process, fulfill, deliver, support, return, or otherwise manage the transaction.
Depending on the transaction, this may include:
- Customer name
- Shipping information
- Relevant contact information
- Products purchased
- Quantities and variations
- Order details
- Information necessary for fulfillment, returns, or customer support
Marketplace sellers should not receive a customer’s raw payment-card credentials from Brina.
Sellers are expected to use customer information only for legitimate marketplace and transaction-related purposes and in accordance with applicable requirements.
Customers should understand that marketplace sellers may be independent businesses and may have legal privacy obligations of their own.
6. Service Providers and Third Parties
We may disclose personal information to service providers and other third parties that perform functions necessary to operate Brina Marketplace.
These may include:
- Payment processors and payment gateways
- Identity-verification providers
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- Shipping and fulfillment providers
- Email and communications providers
- Marketing platforms
- Analytics and performance providers
- Fraud-prevention and security providers
- Customer-support technology providers
- Tax, accounting, legal, or compliance service providers
- Marketplace sellers when necessary to fulfill or support transactions
Payment providers may include Stripe, Square, PayPal, or other providers made available through Brina Marketplace.
Our providers may change as the marketplace develops.
We expect service providers handling information on our behalf to process it for appropriate business purposes and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
7. We Do Not Sell Customer Lists
Brina does not sell customer lists or personal information to third parties for their independent direct-marketing purposes.
This statement does not prevent Brina from using service providers, marketplace sellers, payment providers, marketing providers, analytics technologies, or other partners as described in this Privacy Policy.
Certain privacy laws may define terms such as “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” more broadly than an ordinary exchange of information for money. Where such laws apply, we will address applicable rights and obligations as required.
8. Email Marketing
Brina may send promotional emails to individuals who choose to receive them, such as by subscribing through our newsletter form or selecting an applicable marketing option during checkout or another interaction.
Marketing subscription is separate from communications that are necessary to operate an account or complete a transaction.
You may unsubscribe from promotional email communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in those communications or through other available preference controls.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not necessarily stop transactional or service communications that are necessary for orders, account security, policy notices, or other non-marketing purposes.
We may use third-party email marketing providers, such as Klaviyo or other providers, to manage subscriptions and communications.
9. SMS and Text Message Marketing
Brina may offer SMS or text-message marketing in the future.
Providing a phone number for an account, order, delivery, security verification, or customer-support purpose does not by itself mean that you have agreed to receive promotional text messages.
Where consent is required, promotional SMS communications will require an appropriate separate opt-in.
If you choose to subscribe to marketing text messages, applicable consent disclosures, message frequency information, opt-out instructions, and other required terms will be provided as appropriate.
You may opt out of promotional SMS messages using the instructions provided with those messages.
Transactional or security-related messaging may be treated separately where permitted by applicable law.
11. International Users and Data Transfers
Brina Marketplace is based in the United States and is intended to support customers in multiple countries where our services can lawfully and operationally be provided.
Service availability may vary based on factors including:
- Applicable laws and regulations
- Trade or sanctions restrictions
- Shipping availability
- Seller availability
- Payment availability
- Fraud and security considerations
- Risk controls
- Regulatory requirements
Personal information may be processed in the United States or in other countries where Brina, marketplace sellers, or our service providers operate.
Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws of your country.
Where applicable law requires specific safeguards for international transfers of personal information, we will use or rely on appropriate mechanisms as required.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate operational, security, legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and compliance purposes.
Retention periods may vary depending on:
- The type of information
- The nature of our relationship with you
- Whether an account remains active
- Transaction and order history
- Legal requirements
- Accounting and tax obligations
- Fraud or security considerations
- Disputes or claims
- Regulatory obligations
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise handle it in accordance with applicable requirements.
Deletion of an account does not necessarily require immediate deletion of every record associated with previous transactions.
For example, certain order, transaction, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, security, or compliance records may need to be retained after an account is deleted.
13. Account Deletion and 30-Day Recovery Period
Brina intends to provide customers with the ability to request deletion of their account.
When an eligible account-deletion request is initiated, the account may first enter a 30-day deactivation and recovery period.
During this period, the account will be treated as deactivated and ordinary account use may be restricted.
The customer may be provided with a method to recover or reactivate the account during the 30-day recovery period.
If the account is not recovered within that period, the account may proceed to permanent deletion or anonymization, subject to information that Brina or its service providers must or may retain for legitimate legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, transaction-record, or regulatory purposes.
Deleting an account does not automatically erase records that Brina is legally required or otherwise permitted to retain.
Seller information may also be retained after a seller relationship ends where necessary for transactions, payouts, tax obligations, identity-verification records or status, fraud prevention, disputes, legal compliance, or other legitimate purposes.
14. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information.
These may include the right to request:
- Access to certain personal information
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of certain information
- Information about how personal information is processed
- Withdrawal of certain consent
- Objection to or restriction of certain processing
- A portable copy of certain information
- Other rights provided by applicable privacy law
These rights are not necessarily absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions.
For example, we may need to retain certain information to comply with law, maintain transaction records, protect security, prevent fraud, establish or defend legal claims, or fulfill other legitimate obligations.
To make a privacy request, contact:
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. This is intended to help prevent unauthorized individuals from obtaining, changing, or deleting another person’s information.
Authorized-agent requests may be handled as required by applicable law.
We will respond to valid privacy requests in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
15. Security
Protecting personal information is an important priority for Brina Marketplace.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Depending on the service involved, safeguards may include account authentication, verification controls, access restrictions, secure third-party payment processing, identity-verification providers, security monitoring, and other technical or operational measures.
We also seek to reduce our direct handling of certain highly sensitive information by using specialized providers for services such as payment processing and seller identity verification.
However, no website, database, network, transmission method, or online service can guarantee absolute security.
Customers and sellers also play an important role in account security and should protect their login credentials, use secure devices and networks, and notify Brina if they suspect unauthorized access to their account.
16. Children’s Privacy
Brina Marketplace is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13 in circumstances prohibited by applicable law.
If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected in a manner that requires deletion or other action under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps.
A parent or legal guardian who believes a child has provided personal information improperly may contact us at:
Certain services, including seller participation, identity verification, financial services, contractual activities, or other features, may have higher minimum-age requirements. Seller participation may require an individual to be at least 18 years old where applicable.
17. Legal, Safety, and Security Disclosures
We may preserve, use, or disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary or appropriate to:
- Comply with applicable law
- Respond to valid legal process
- Respond to lawful government or regulatory requests
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Brina, our customers, sellers, service providers, or others
- Detect, investigate, or prevent fraud
- Investigate security incidents
- Prevent abuse or misuse of our services
- Enforce applicable agreements, terms, or policies
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
We do not treat an informal request as equivalent to valid legal process where the law requires appropriate legal authority.
18. Business Transfers
If Brina is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
Where required, affected individuals will receive notice or other protections required by applicable law.
19. Third-Party Links and Services
Brina Marketplace may contain links to websites, applications, payment providers, sellers, or other services operated by third parties.
Their privacy practices may differ from ours.
This Privacy Policy does not necessarily govern information you provide directly to an independent third party outside Brina Marketplace.
We encourage you to review the privacy information provided by third parties when interacting directly with their services.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Brina Marketplace evolves, our services change, our providers change, or legal and regulatory requirements develop.
When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date.
If a change is material and applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide the appropriate notice or request consent as required.
We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
